GHOST TOWN MARSHALLS
Detroit's Country Rock at Its Finest!

Ghost Town Marshalls, the rising country-rock band out of Detroit, MI., came together in 2022 and are Kimberly Spears (vocals/keyboards), Phil Figlioli (guitar), Ron Frank (bass) and Joe Goleski (drums/vocals). Together, they have a shared love of the last five decades of great music. Their sound blends the spirit of 70s–2000s rock, outlaw country grit, the influence of iconic female voices, and the timeless energy of classic American songwriting.
Kimberly Spears grew up with cassette tapes and a voice that never seemed to turn off, music has always been the most natural part of her life. She spent her early years learning from a long line of teachers, choir directors, and vocalists.
Ghost Town Marshalls came together through decades of friendship and shared stages. Phil, Ron, and Joe have crossed paths in countless music projects over the years, long enough that no one’s willing to admit the exact number. What matters is simple: music brought them together and has kept them together.
What makes Ghost Town Marshalls special isn’t complicated. They’re a group of musicians who genuinely love to play anywhere, anytime, in any weather, for any crowd. Whether it’s a packed room, a tiny corner stage, a festival field, or a rainy night under a tent, they show up with the same joy.
Ghost Town Marshalls goals are clear, to bring their original music to new listeners and to play out as much as possible.
Looking ahead, their dreams stretch far beyond a single season. They want to connect with fans, collaborate with fellow musicians, and watch new generations of artists rise. Inspired by the musicians they know who are still gigging well into their seventies, they hope to be doing the same.
For them, fulfillment isn’t tied to a specific stage. A bar, a festival, a coffee house, a backyard, or even a pontoon, if music is involved, they’re home. Their ultimate goal is simple and unwavering: to share their love of music with anyone who wants to listen, for as long as life allows.
